Please do not send passwords, sign-in links or private health records. Start with a description of the issue; you can remove personal details from any screenshot you choose to share.
Do I need an account?
No account is needed for your local journal. Linking your Kainos Aminos account is optional and is used for membership points. Linking does not back up or upload your journal.
Where are my records?
Records belong to the selected local profile on your device. Check Menu → Profiles & partner if something appears missing. Avoid deleting the app while troubleshooting.
How do I back up my journal and photos?
Use Menu → Backup & export for your journal. Progress photos have a separate photo archive export in Progress → Progress photos. Save both before replacing or removing the app. Photo archives contain private images; share them only deliberately.
How do I manage Apple Health?
Choose Menu → Apple Health to connect or review access. You can change permissions in Apple Health or iPhone Settings. Only connect the iPhone owner’s Health data to that person’s profile. Missing readings can mean access was not granted or the source has no data.
Why did a reminder not appear?
Check notification permission in iPhone Settings and the schedule in the app, then reopen Amino Arc. Progress-photo reminders are optional and are configured separately from dose reminders.
Can I turn off the celebration?
Yes. Open Menu → Preferences, turn off Injection celebration, and save. A simple confirmation will still show when a dose is logged.
How do I remove information?
You can delete individual entries, photo sets or a partner profile in the app. Menu → Manage data can erase the current local profile. Unlinking a Kainos account removes the app’s sign-in credentials but does not delete the website account or its order history. Contact support for help with a website account deletion request.
